This is San Diego’s only amphibious sightseeing tour, and trust us, you do not want to miss it! The tour lasts for approximately an hour and a half and guides guests through San Diego's most charming streets and through the calm waters of San Diego Bay.
The tour will be beginning at Seaport Village and guests will be helped to come aboard a “Hydra Terra” to the Big Bay where the trusted tour guide will be enchanting guests with the history of the bay and its early fishing industry. The water portion of the tour in San Diego Bay is going to be experienced off Shelter Island where attendees could possibly spot California Brown Pelicans, the Blue Heron, and sea lions nearby.
An exciting part of this tour is guests will also be able to find out the critical role that the military has in San Diego and venture near Naval Air Station North Island, the Navy’s marine mammal training center, Point Loma and the Point Loma Submarine Base, and more! The San Diego SEAL tour fleet uses vessels that have been approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and that meet the standards set by the Department of Transportation for passenger vessels.
On the way back to Seaport Village, visitors will pass the USS Midway Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the Cruise Ship Terminal, a few of the most famous museums in San Diego.
